Company

What we focus on, how we operate, and where we sit in the battery materials supply chain.

Core Focus

Regenerate spent LFP cathode material into manufacturer-grade cathode active material, in Texas.

Core Values

Efficient by designA process route chosen because it preserves value rather than rebuilding it — less energy, fewer stages, less waste.
Ecologically conscious by intentNo acids, no bases, no high-temperature smelting. The environmental case is a property of the chemistry, not an offset purchased afterward.
Cost-effective by disciplineA light-capital route to battery-grade material, priced to compete on the spec sheet rather than on a subsidy.

Where We Sit

RETTAB occupies the seat between the recycler and the cell manufacturer — two industries that do not connect today for LFP. We are not a collector, not a shredder, and not a cell manufacturer. We take LFP-rich black mass in and deliver manufacturer-grade cathode active material out.

UpstreamBattery recyclers producing LFP-rich black mass, who today have no higher-value domestic offtake for it.
RETTABDirect regeneration to virgin-equivalent cathode active material.
DownstreamUS cell manufacturers who need domestic, non-Chinese cathode active material qualified to their existing spec.

Who We Work With

Cell manufacturersUS producers who need compliant domestic cathode material. We deliver virgin-equivalent regenerated LFP CAM at a meaningful input-cost advantage, qualified to the same spec sheet, sourced and processed inside Texas.
Battery recyclersProducers of LFP-rich black mass with no higher-value domestic offtake. We are an ecologically sound local buyer — keeping material in-state rather than exporting it for lower-value processing.
Storage operatorsOwners facing the 2027–2030 LFP warranty wave. We are the closed-loop pathway and the in-state counterparty that does not exist today: the same material, regenerated, back in the next pack.

Scope

We are deliberate about what we are not. RETTAB does not do cell pickup, shredding, or sorting; does not manufacture cells or packs; and is focused on LFP chemistry rather than spreading across every cathode type. That focus is what makes the process economics work.
