The Texas Grid Is Doubling Its Demand. The Batteries Have to Come From Somewhere.
ERCOT is tracking roughly 156,000 MW of large loads seeking interconnection, up from 63,000 MW six months earlier. Meeting that ramp means more storage — and more storage means more cathode material than the current supply chain is built to deliver.
